I attempt to administer treatment based upon many factors including the condition being treated and the patient tolerance to treatment. When an adjustment is indicated I primarily utilize an adjustive technique labeled Diversified Technique. Mobilizing a joint may be all that’s required and this can be extremely gentle. It is important that the proper amount of force be applied as too much force can be as detrimental as not enough force being used.
One of the advantages I have developed over the years is a specialized form of functional testing best described as Kinesiology. This technique allows me to test and re-test to help determine if the treatment is effective. This allows for almost immediate feedback.
I have found over the years that muscles are as important as joints, if not more so in many cases. I have acquired much advanced training in the following arts and sciences associated with muscle and the myofascial system (connective tissue throughout the body holding the muscles together).
